Gladys Revels, 87, formerly of Elizabethtown, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at her son’s residence in Bowling Green.
She was a native of Hart County, a member of Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green and worked for Severns Valley Baptist Church Day Care for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Revels; her parents, Arnold and Rena Rigdon Glass; and by a sister, Frankie Muir.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sherry Revels of Bowling Green; and two grandchildren, Emily Revels-Druen of Gainesville, Fla., and John Revels of Elizabethtown.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home, with Bro. John Rice officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
