Blanche Larimore, 98, of Horse Cave, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Caverna Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hart County and a member of the Horse Cave Baptist Church. She was a former longtime member of the Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Leon Larimore, on Nov. 8, 2004; her parents, Ed and Rena Crain Lile; a brother, Carl Lile; and two sisters, Lera Mouser and Bessie Barbour.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Broady and her husband, Levy, of Horse Cave; a granddaughter, Debra Goodman and her husband, Billy, of Horse Cave, a great-grandson, Nicholas Goodman of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; a sister, Lovie Nell Mouser of Horse Cave; and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home in Horse Cave, with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory in the form of contributions to any church or charity.
