Frances Louise Wallace, 87, of Alvaton, passed away Saturday at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care in Scottsville at 2:05 a.m.
The Macon County, Mo., native was born Dec. 23, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Hurley and Neva Pearl Wilson Winget and the wife of the late James William Wallace II.
Frankie was co-owner of Shiloh Motel in Russell Springs. She loved fishing and the outdoors and meeting new people and never met a stranger.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Lynn Wallace (Jami) of Alvaton and James Hurley Wallace (Pamela) of Cookeville, Tenn.; a sister, Thelma Gwinner of Macon, Mo.; a brother, Harold Winget of Russell Springs; three grandchildren, Jimmy, Mason and Dustin Wallace; four stepgrandchildren, Kevin, Kendall and Gary DeBord and Rebecca Leaming; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family chose cremation and will have a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
