Hattie Frances Williams, 74, of Munfordville, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
She was retired from Louisville Bedding Company and was a cook at Shelton’s Restaurant and several other places in Munfordville. She was a member of Woodsonville Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Rollo Howard and the late Mae Ford Howard.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Williams; a son, Zachary Howard of Munfordville; a stepdaughter, Rene Williams of Horse Cave; three stepsons, Randy Williams of Cave City, Ronald Lee Williams of Killeen, Texas, and Kendal Williams of Horse Cave; two sisters, Ethel Howard of Elizabethtown and Wanda Brashear (Larry) of Elizabethtown; seven brothers, William Ford of Indianapolis, George Howard (Anna) of Munfordville, Donald Lee Howard of Munfordville, Roscoe Howard of Munfordville, Wonnie Howard of Munfordville, Cecil Howard (Joena) of Louisville and Roy Howard of Elizabethtown; two sisters-in-law, Jean Tisdale of Louisville and Betty Doss (John) of Maryland; two godsons, Riguez Howard and Jose Howard; a goddaughter, Bernita Howard; 16 nieces; 11 nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna “Candy” Howard; and three brothers, Joe, Tommy and Gary Howard.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Brooks Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodsonville Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at Woodsonville Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Rodney Richardson and the Rev. K.T. Ford officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens in Munfordville.
