Rose Ann Critchelow, 87, of Hardinsburg, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at a Hardinsburg nursing home.
She was born in LaGrange on Oct. 2, 1925, the daughter of the late Clifford and Zula Bohannon Adams. Ann was a homemaker and at retirement age she decided to begin working at Greenwood Mall. For anyone visiting the food court area, you always saw a lovely, smiling face.
She was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, sports and was a University of Kentucky fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Critchelow; a great-grandson, Jr. Cleaver; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Ann is survived by four children, Ginny Flood and her husband, Bernie, of Hardinsburg; Mike Critchelow and his wife, Faye, of Leitchfield, Steve Critchelow and his wife, Jenny, of Harned, and Charlotte Decker and her husband, Robert, of Bowling Green; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Axtel on Saturday at noon, with Father Tony Bickett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
