Brently H. Stice, 51, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Brownsville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Brownsville.
The 1979 graduate of Barren County High School attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from Louisville University School of Dentistry in 1985. He was in practice in Brownsville for more than 27 years. He was highly respected and loved by his patients. He was a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Pennyrile Dental Society, Barren River District Health Board and Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
The Edmonson County native was the son of James Harlan Stice and Patsy Ann Miller Stice of Park City and the husband of Janet McIntyre Stice.
Besides his parents and wife, he is survived by his daughter, Bretta Jo Stice of Louisville; sister, Myra Ray (Eugene) of Smiths Grove; maternal grandmother, Verda Miller of Park City; and two nephews, Ethan Ray and Aaron Ray.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel, and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Hawkins Cemetery.
