Della Flowers, 90, passed away on Dec. 9, 2012, in Bowling Green.
She was born in Warren County on June 3, 1922, to the late William and Maude Towe and was the wife of the late Henry Flowers.
She was a member of White Stone Quarry Baptist Church and a former employee of Holley Carburetor. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Evelyn Campbell and her husband, Jerry; four grandchildren, Ricky Lee (Miranda), Robert Campbell (Tammy), Adam Campbell and Sherry Lay (Emery); eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Francis Bryant; and six brothers, Johnny Towe, Bruce Towe, O.W. Towe, Buckham Towe, Aubrey Towe and her twin, Dempsey Towe.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, with funeral at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
