Mary Jane Salmons, 62, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at her residence at 3:45 p.m. The Wadsworth, Ohio, native was born April 15, 1950. She was the daughter of the late William and Ica Jane Sharp and also was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Salmons, and a grandson, Garrett Hartis.
Mary Jane was a housewife and a member of Hillvue Heights Church. She was a loving mother, MeMaw and this year was a breast cancer survivor.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Renee Hartis (Cory) of Bowling Green, Cheena Keltner (Brad) of Jackson, Tenn.; two sisters, Martha Osborne (Jim) of Winter Springs, Fla., Marjorie Sharp of Deerfield, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Riley, Connor, Savannah and Brier Hartis and Jackson, Will and Ella Keltner; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens.
