Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel
Margaret Ann Boze Nicholas, 80, of Smiths Grove, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at her residence. The Missouri native was a daughter of the late Luke Edwin Boze and Mary Frances Dunkin Boze and was the wife of the late Roy James Nicholas. She was a homemaker and also worked for Warren County Public Schools for 10 years. She was a member of Oak Forest Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Borden Boze, George Boze and Louis Boze; and two sisters, Jessie Johnson and Ann Yelvington.
Suvivors include a son; Mike Nicholas (Diane); four daughters, Sandy Weiss (Mike), Debbie Smith (Mike), Judy Hand (Burl) and Sharon Herrington (Rick); 12 grandchildren, Becky Smith (Doug), Holly Vincent (Jason), Stacy Adcock (Cary), John Weiss (Laura), Robert Weiss (Robyn), Esty Smith, Laura Wilmesher (Doug), Louis Smith, Garth Hand (Amanda), Erik Hand (Denise), David Herrington and Claire Shuffett (Zach); and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Forest Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Hays Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hardy and Son Funeral Home in Smiths Grove and also from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
