Anthony Nicholas Patrick, 95, of Bowling Green, formerly of Aiken, S.C., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at his residence at 8:30 a.m.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Daisy Patrick; his parents, Nicholas Patrick and Theododia Koleko Patrick; a sister, Katherine Kostelnik; and two brothers, Walter and Mike Patrick.

Tony was a retired foreman from U.S. Steel in Gary, Ind., and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. He was a member of Hollow Creek Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C. The family would especially like to thank Hospice of Southern Kentucky for the wonderful care that they did for Tony.

He is survived by a son, Ed Patrick of Bowling Green and his daughter-in-law, Jeanette Patrick of Bowling Green; a sister, Helen Saporsky of Valparaiso, Ind.; four grandchildren, Laura, Teresa and Mike Patrick and Christi Moore; and seven great-grandchildren, Ally, Aiden, Chloe, Emily, Sydney, Kaitlin and Joe. Also a special thanks to his caregiver, Tammy Burden, and close friend, George Fant Sr.

Funeral services and burial will be in Aiken, S.C., and local arrangements are under the direction of J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hollow Creek Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C.
