Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel
Julia Anna Johnson, 84, of Smiths Grove, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at her residence.
The Barren County native was a daughter of the late Gilbert T. Britt and Etheline Snoddy Britt, wife of the late Charles Johnson and preceded in death by a son, Charles Richard Johnson; and a brother, Eulan Britt. She was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Moats (Rickie); two sons, Neil Johnson (Dorothy) and Carlos Johnson (Mandy); seven grandsons, Robert Johnson (Mary), Roger Johnson, Jason Johnson (Becky), Timmy Johnson (Lisa), Jeramy Moats (Rachel), Brandon Moats (Cody) and Waylon Johnson; seven great-grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Kelley Johnson, Heather Johnson, Justin Johnson, Shawn Johnson, Halie Moats and Garrett Moats; two great-great-grandchildren, Caleb Matthew Hafner and Ember Katherine Kane Hafner; and a sister-in-law, Edith Britt.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Forest Baptist Church, with burial in Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel, and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
