Evelyn Cole, 89, of Cedar Springs, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, in Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late John and Manda Borden Martin and the wife of Bennie T. Cole. She was a retired shipping clerk with Gambel Brothers and a member of Cedar Hill United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie T. Cole of Cedar Springs; 23 nephews; 17 nieces; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday at Cedar Hill United Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Cedar Hill United Baptist Church, with burial in Lambert Cemetery.
