Funeral Home: J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel
Ruth Burton Harrod Caskey, 92, of Bowling Green, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at her residence.
The Warren County native was born Sept. 30, 1920, to the late Jess and Myrtle Burton and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harrod; two sons, Donald Harrod and Harold Harrod; a daughter, Myrtle Tandy; a brother, Fred Burton; and a sister, Nell Burton. She was a member of Delafield Church of Christ and was retired from Fields Packing Plant.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Talley and her husband, Jerry, of Franklin; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Harrod of Bowling Green; two granddaughters; two grandsons; 11 great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and a great-great-grandson.
