Margaret Anderson Gardner, 91, of Bowling Green, passed away Jan. 6, 2013, at a local nursing home.
She was born July 27, 1921, in Warren County to the late George and Stella Anderson and was married to the late Joe Thomas Gardner for 57 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from the Farm Service Agency in Jefferson County in 1973.
She is survived by nephews, Gary and Barbara Whitley and Charles and Neva Whitley; nieces, Jo and Fred Dausch and Joyce and Don Barrow; a cousin, Margaret Forshee; and longtime friends Sue and Pete Haynes.
Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, with funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
