Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
James Kenneth Carter, 83, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Hospice Center.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Chester Amos Carter and Golden Nell Clasby Carter. He was an electrician at Holley Performance, hauled milk for the Pet Milk Co., and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and American Legion. He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jonell Carter; three sons, Darrel Carter (Katrina), Rick Carter (Lisa) and Brent Carter (Barbara); eight grandchildren, Cassie Faulkner, Jared Carter, Cali Carter Wheeler, Krista Carter, Clay Carter, Logan Carter, Ryan Carter and Braden Carter; four great-grandchildren, Will Faulkner, Maggie Faulkner, John Thomas Faulkner and James Dee Carter; a brother, Bobby Gene Carter (Louise); and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with visitation from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
