Debra P. Vance, 53, of Scottsville, entered into rest Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
A native of Montgomery, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Len Parker Jr. and Joann Parker.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jim Vance; son, J.R. Vance (Kasey) of Scottsville; daughter, Jenny Shortridge (Cory) of Phoenix; sister, Sheryl Miller of Costa Rica; brother, Dave Parker (Carla) of Tampa, Fla.; nephews, Cole, Chandler and T.J. Vance, Andrew Warren and Chaz and Kody Parker; nieces, Andrea Fuller, Heather Cannon, Meghan Miller and Julianne Warren.
Debbie was a board member of the American Cancer Society and involved in many other civic organizations.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
