Robert William Davis, 61, of Smiths Grove, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at his residence in Smiths Grove.
Mr. Davis was a retired truck driver. He was the son of the late Charlie Davis and the late Fleda (Harper) Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Davis; a brother, Rudd Davis; and a half brother, Roger Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Davis, two daughters, Kelly Davis and Carrie Davis, and a son, Vonnie Davis, all of Smiths Grove; three grandchildren, Dusty Davis, Amber Davis and Casey Davis; four brothers and four sisters, all of Mountain City, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville, where the family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Thursday, with Bro. Allen Harper officiating. Burial will be at Cosby Cemetery in Horse Cave.
