Mildred Juanita Bradley Hammers Parker, 90, of Rochester, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green.
Mildred was born June 5, 1922, in Butler County to the late Otis and Ora Hope Bradley. She was the wife of the late Alvin Hammers and Prentice Arnold. She was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Kellwood Co. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Johnson; three sisters; and a brother.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, Ray Woodrow Parker of Rochester; three sons, Rayden R. Hammers (Betty) of Franklin, Lowell Hammers (Vicki) of Bowling Green and Horace Hammers (Sue) of Rochester; grandchildren, Cindy Priggie (Tom) of Germany, Stephanie Vanderveer (Mitch) of Louisville, John Hammers (Tammy) of Bowling Green, Brandon Hammers (Kelly) of Lancaster, Scottie Johnson (Veera) of Knoxville, Tenn., and Chad Johnson (Michelle) of Brentwood, Tenn.; eight great-grandchildren; special caregiver, Michelle Odle of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Rochester Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Roger Heltsley officiating. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Chapel and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the church.
