Mary Jo Littleton, 83, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.
Mary Jo was a native of Fleming County and was the daughter of the late William Thomas Claypoole and Ruby Flannery Claypoole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Willis Calvin Littleton.
Mrs. Littleton was a homemaker, a Methodist and volunteered for the Red Cross and several civic and charitable organizations.
Mrs. Littleton is survived by a son, Dr. Scott Littleton, his wife, Paula, and three grandchildren, Eric, Cara and Zachary; a daughter, Cindy Deaton and her husband, Gary; and a brother, Charles Claypoole and his wife, Paddy, of Flemingsburg.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, with a service at 11 a.m. Wednesday to celebrate her life. Burial will be in Everman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
