Kathleen (Kathy) Forsee passed to a better place on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, after a courageous fight against cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John Ray Forsee; a daughter and son-in-law, Kari Rae and Michael Carr; a son, John William Roy Forsee; as well as three treasured grandchildren, Cadence Kathleen Carr, Savannah Skye Carr and Capt. Michael Reed Carr, all of Bowling Green. Kathy also leaves an aunt, Margarette Elsie Booth of Dallas, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews from many parts of the country.
She was a member of Rich Pond Church of Christ and was honored to be a Kentucky Colonel. Kathy was born Kathleen Morris on March 9, 1950, in Louisville and was preceded in death by her parents, William Isaac Morris and Dorothy Edna Kimmey Morris; a brother, William Jerry Morris; and a granddaughter, MacKenzie Rae Carr.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. The funeral services begin on Thursday at 11:30 a.m., with graveside services immediately following at Fairview Cemetery.
