Mrs. Eva Gentry Perdue Wright, 89, of Franklin, entered into rest Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at 10:30 p.m. at The Medical Center in Franklin.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be Saturday at 1 p.m., with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
A native of Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Noah Jace Gentry and Henrietta Smalling Gentry. She was the wife of the late Robert “Bob” Perdue and the wife of the late Warren Wright. She was preceded in death by three brothers, M. J., Billy and Noah Gentry; and granddaughter-in-law, Clara Drake.
She is survived by three daughters, Bobbie Stark (Jimmy) of Cross Plains, Tenn., and Margaret Humphrey (Leon) and Cathy Witt (Mickey), both of Franklin; a son, R. H. Perdue (Kim) of Franklin; a sister, Nina Logan (Bud) of Woodburn; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wright was a homemaker, retired employee of Sealed Power and former employee of the Dollar General Market. She was a longtime member of AARP and Calvary Baptist Church.
Visitation will begin Friday at 1 p.m. and begin Saturday at 6 a.m. until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
