James Milton Cundiff, 92, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
The Logan County native was the son of the late John Robert and Lula Belle Whitson Cundiff. He was preceded in death by his sister, Winnie Brown.
James is survived by his wife and first love, Magdalene Christmas Cundiff; a son, Fred Cundiff of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Betty Jo Free of Scottsville and Nelson Glenn Cundiff (Cassie) and Jennifer Cundiff Palmer (David), both of Bowling Green; five great-grandchildren, Kanan Free, Nickolas and Kaylee Palmer and Carson and Lily Kate Cundiff.
James and Magdalene celebrated 70 years of marriage June 6, 2012. James was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church and a charter member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lewisburg. He was a World War II Army veteran and retired from Reynolds Aluminum in Louisville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m.
