Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
Raymond Earl Logsdon, 87, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a son of the late Grover C. Logsdon and Artie Sermons Logsdon, husband of the late Lillie Mae Logsdon and was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Autumn Mae Lillard. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Miller Hill), a security guard and farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Hawks (Ronell) and Linda Lillard; two sons, Avery Logsdon (Shelia) and Freddie Logsdon (Vickie); nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sybil Whittaker; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Miller Hill) in Edmonson County, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the church and continue until time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
