Funeral Home: Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home
Ann Wallace DeLong, 92, of Franklin, entered into rest Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at 12:55 p.m. at the Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehab Facility.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held Saturday.
A native of Gallatin, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cleny Wallace and the late Lurene Fry Wallace. She was the wife of the late Sidney Wallis DeLong.
She is survived by three sons, Sidney W. DeLong of Seattle, Thomas Fry DeLong of Boston and Michael Allen DeLong of Franklin, and their spouses.
Mrs. DeLong moved to Franklin in 1946 where she was a longtime bookkeeper for E.S. Robey Tobacco Co. She was a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church, E. H. Goodnight Music Club, Business and Professional Women’s Club and various bridge clubs locally and a supporter of the Franklin Arts Council.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
