Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel
Lola Mae Doyle, 91, of Smiths Grove, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Greenview Regional Hospital.
The Warren County native was a daughter of the late James Lige Cowles and Lula Myrtle Cole Cowles and wife of the late Geneva Reed Doyle. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Better Asher; a brother, James Award Cowles; and two sisters, Lois Irene McVay and Lula Frances Phillips. She was a retired employee of Union Underwear and a member of Otter Gap Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Neva Whittle and her husband, Edward; a son, Bobby Doyle; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Cowles and Estelle Baxter and her husband, Raymond; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel, with burial in Otter Gap Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
