Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
Junius Boards, 86, of Bowling Green, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at his residence.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Albert Boards and Zella Page Boards. He was a retired Warren County school board employee and a farmer, a member of Oakland Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Oakland Brotherhood and was Sunday school superintendent for several years.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Josie Whitney Boards; three sons; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Oakland Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
