Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
Jackie Lee Pearson, 58, of Smiths Grove, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at The Medical Center.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Clifton Jack Pearson and Barbara Ann Cooke Pearson and was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jane Pearson. He was a retired employee of Holley Carburetor and Nasco, a member and deacon of Icy Sink Baptist Church and Icy Sink Brotherhood.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Frances Boards Pearson; a daughter, Ashley LeAnn Pearson; a son, Nicholas LaMonte Pearson; a granddaughter, Ajayla LaNell Pearson; a godson, Kyren Boards; three brothers, Ralph Pearson (Ellen), Ronnie “Rabbit” Pearson (Pam) and Curtis Pearson; three brothers-in-law, Ed Boards (Mary), Jimmy Boards (Sandy) and Michael Boards; four sisters-in-law, Doris Allen, Rose Shobe (Larry), Janette Harpool (Howard) and Nicole Boards; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday at Icy Sink Baptist Church, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, and from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Icy Sink Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hardy & Son Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
