Joe London, 84, of Woodburn, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., with burial to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
A native of Warren County, he was the son of the late Lester London and Maude Downey London. He was a farmer and an Army veteran. He was a member of the Stevenson Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge No. 177. He was preceded in death by two brothers, J.R. London and Lawrence London, and by one sister at birth.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Basham London of Woodburn; two daughters, Beverly Bunch and her husband, Brian, of Woodburn and Janet London of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Bethany Bunch, Bradley Bunch, Lindsey London and Justin Roy; and three great-grandchildren, Emilee Bunch, RyLee “Jo” Bunch and Branen Hunt.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 6 a.m. Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
