Tommy Kimbro, 102, of Oakland, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, in Bowling Green.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Warner and Maude Bunch Kimbro and husband of the late Pauline Jenkins Kimbro. He is preceded in death by a son, Wayne Kimbro; two grandchildren, Terry and Timothy Kimbro; three brothers and five sisters. Tommy enjoyed gardening, bird hunting and all sports.
Survivors include two sons, Neil Kimbro (Peggy) and Kenneth Kimbro (Carmen); a daughter, Patricia Jenkins (Roger); five grandchildren, Donna Napier, Judy Widmer (Don), Cindy Kimbro and Steve Kimbro, all of Indianapolis, and Tommy Kimbro of Bowling Green; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a special daughter-in-law, June Kimbro Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
