Lucille Cole, 79, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at 12:06 a.m. at the The Medical Center.
Lucille was born Sept. 13, 1933, in Breckinridge County. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. E. Cole; her parents, Luther and Fannie Katherine Ferry Hale; a daughter, Charlotte Ann Tanaro; and a sister, Rita Mae Hess. Lucille was a member of Richardsville United Methodist Church and retired from Fruit of the Loom. She was a loving wife of 55 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by five sons, William Wallace Cole (Janice) of Alvaton, James Bradley Cole (Tina), Bobby O’Neal Cole, Jason Hale Cole (Sheryl) and Larry W. Cole (Penny), all of Bowling Green; four daughters, Mary Jo Honaker (Roger) of White Mills, Janet Runner (Terrell), Jackie Niles (Karl), both of Bowling Green, and Beverly June Eadens (Todd) of Rockfield; a son-in-law, Mike Tanaro of Alvaton; four sisters, Dorothy Dupin, Betty Berry and Ruth Ann Dyer (Jimmy), all of Hardinsburg, and Brenda Sue Haycraft (Ernie) of Box Elder, S.D.; two brothers, Bud Hale of Tell City, Ind., and Ralph Hale (Irene) of Bowling Green. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Green River Union Cemetery.
