James David Keown Sr., 69, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, in Bowling Green.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Daisy Walker Keown; a brother, Bill Keown, and his wife, Linda, of Glasgow; five children, a son, James David Keown Jr. and his wife, Lesa, a daughter, Deborah Derosier, and her husband, Paul, and a son, Daniel Keown, and his wife, Paula, all of Bowling Green, a son, Robert Keown, and his wife, Melissa, of Franklin, and a daughter, Donna Keown, and her fiance, Josh Melton, of Cabot, Ark.; 12 grandchildren, Sherri Myers, Kristin Richmond, Amanda Derosier, Chelsea Derosier, Brandon Derosier, Anthony Keown, Jon Phillips, Robert Dale Keown Jr., Rachel Keown, Nathaniel Keown, Jennifer Keown and Stephanie Boles; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, Joshua Derosier.
He was a farmer, master craftsman and avid musician.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no funeral service. The family will have a private gathering at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted into the care of J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
