Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel
Rheda Patricia Moody Smith, 65, of Smiths Grove, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at her stepdaughter’s house.
The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Irvin and Lena Bell Perdue Moody. She was a housewife and a member of Faith United Baptist Church in Oakland.
Survivors include her husband, Preston Smith; two stepchildren, Trish Pinet (Marty) and Ricky Smith (Billie); three grandchildren, Stephen Smith, Daniel Pinet (Shelby) and Kayla Britton (Chris); seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Junior Moody (Inez) of Rhoda; a sister, Jeanette Grimes of Rockfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Friday at Faith United Baptist Church in Oakland, with burial in Hays Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel, and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
