John Lewis Turner, 82, of Madisonville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Baptist Health Hospital.
Born March 12, 1930, in Franklin, he was a retired oil and gas inspector for the state and a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Turner of Madisonville; a son, Eddie Turner of Franklin; four grandchildren, Kelsey Marie Turner of Franklin and Trevor Turner Lail, Lincoln Andrew Lail and Lance Barrett Lail of Madisonville; a brother, James Henry Turner of Franklin; and his longtime companion, Nancy Bouldin of Bowling Green.
A memorial service will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Rebos Clubhouse, 100 Higgins St. (Hwy. 68), Hopkinsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a burial fund for John L. Turner, Citizens First Bank, 1700 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
