Larry Keith Glass, 65, of Glasgow, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born in Glasgow the son of the late James and Eunice Minor Glass. Larry retired from the National Linen Service and later was employed by DANA and Felker Brothers. He loved and spent years researching his genealogy. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Matthews Glass; two daughters, Angie Bishop (Chuck) and Andrea Haynes (Corey), both of Glasgow; six grandchildren, Cade, Laney and Caroline Bishop and Elleri, Huston and Ryder Haynes; a sister, Pat Vincent (Ranzy) of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews, including Amy Key (Mark) of Smiths Grove, and a great-nephew, Landon Key; his mother-in-law, Olene Matthews, and sisters-in-law, Jackie Clemmons (Tony) and Jean Crow (Follis), all of Glasgow, and Jo Fields of Louisville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clifton Matthews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Sunday.
