Helen Jean Davis-Hampton, 83, of Bowling Green, entered into rest on Feb. 26, 2013.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Offutt-Davis-McClellan and Archie L. Davis Sr.; a daughter, Patsy Johnson; a sister, Loretta Baptista; and brothers, Archie Davis (Sonny Boy), Arthur Davis and Roy Davis.
Services are Saturday at noon at State Street Baptist Church, 340 State St. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. Interment is at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Burnam & Son Mortuary, Inc.
Helen is survived by her husband, James W. “Sonny” Hampton of Bowling Green; children, Charlotte Reed, Barbara Levine (Thomas), Pamela Hampton and Belinda Hammond; grandchildren, Shannon, Celeste, Erica, Angela and Charles; great-grandchildren, Nakailai, Norman and Gabrielle; a sister, Joyce (Leroy) Tann; stepsisters, Cora Dunn and Mary McClellan; a brother, James B. Davis; a sister-in-law, Thelma Baker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
