Elbert Vernon “Jim” Pedigo, 75, of Bowling Green, passed away at 2:14 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2013, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green.
The Allen County native was born on Sept. 20, 1937, to the late Chester and Lissie Willoughby Pedigo and is survived by his wife of 31 years, Brenda Sue Pedigo. He was preceded in death by two children, Tammy Cowles and Jeffery Cowles; and a brother, Carveil Pedigo. Jim was retired from the Fun & Games and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include four children, Karen Miller, Shatana Sloan, Randy Pedigo and Darrell Wayne Cowles Jr., all of Bowling Green; a brother, Leonard Pedigo of Washington; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four cousins; and his pet Sebastion of 11 years.
