Funeral Home: J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel
Jo Ann Stanfill, 84, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Bowling Green Nursing and Rehabilitation at 9:55 p.m.
Jo Ann was a native of Hammond, Ind., and was born June 11, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Fortune; her parents, Lawrence W. and Anna Belle Black Oswalt; and a daughter, Carol Hardcastle.
Jo Ann was a retired manager of JR Food Store. She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Fortune (Judy) of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Chapel, with visitation from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, burial in Bowling Green Gardens.
