Elsie Lindsey Kinkade, age 91, of Lindseyville, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Bowling Green. She was a homemaker and a member of Midway United Missionary Baptist Church.
The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Everett B. and Lois Vincent Lindsey and wife of the late Lonnie Kinkade.
She is survived by one son, Teddy Kinkade (Carolyn) of Lindseyville; one daughter, Vickie Hammers (Lowell) of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, John Hammers (Tammy), Julie Howard (Wayne), Matthew Kinkade, Joshua Kinkade and Ashley Griffith (Nathan), all of Bowling Green; six great-grandchildren, Christian Howard, Jacob Hammers, James Hammers, Amelia Kinkade, Caleb Griffith and Charlotte Kinkade; two sisters, Naomi Thompson of Brownsville and Helen Gish of Valdosta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Kinkade.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Midway United Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Midway Church Cemetery, Lindseyville. Memorial contributions may be made to Edmonson Care & Rehab Activities Fund.
