Porter Elvin Gooden Jr., 85, of Bon Ayr, died March 4, 2013.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Thursday at Big Meadow Baptist Church, with burial with military honors in the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. today at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
