Funeral Home: J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel
Roger Dale Dillingham, 65, of Bowling Green, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
He was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Detroit to the late James Russell Dillingham and Virgie Vires Dillingham. He was a retired truck driver and last worked for Greg Gary Trucking. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 12 years and was a member of Cadiz Masonic Lodge No. 121. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Darnall Dillingham of Bowling Green; a son and daughter-in-law, James Russell and DeAnna Dillingham, two daughters, Jennifer Jo Dillingham and Natalie Brooke Dillingham, a grandson, Joseph Glen Dillingham, and a cousin and ward, Bill Vires, all of Bowling Green; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Freddie and Libby Darnall of Cadiz; an aunt, Eloise Quinlan of Detroit; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green on Thursday, March 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Visitation will be at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A graveside memorial service will be conducted by Bro. Irvin Darnall at Page Cemetery in Dover, Tenn., on Saturday at 11 a.m.
