Mae Dean Webb Thigpen, 81, of Lindseyville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. Gilbert Leonard Webb and Virginia Elizabeth Webb and the wife of the late Carl Ryals Thigpen Jr. She retired from Southern School Supply as the office manager and was a member of Midway United Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by three brothers, Len “Buddy” Webb (Marion) of Crestwood, Jimmy Webb (Anna) of Brownsville and Johnny Webb (Glenna) of Bowling Green; a sister, Jill Webb Skaggs (Steve) of Brownsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie Lee Webb and Jerry Joe Webb.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Midway United Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Midway Church Cemetery with Bro. Roy Hogan officiating.
