Funeral Home: Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
Debra Hendrick Beckner, 58 of Bowling Green, died April 8, 2013, at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.
The Warren County native was a daughter of Leon Hendrick, who survives, and the late Thelma Jean Hendrick and the wife of the late William Robert “Billy Jack” Beckner II, and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brooklynn Faith Grimes. She was an employee for Commonwealth Health Corp. for 21 years, a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and attended Crossland Community Church.
Survivors include her father, Leon Hendrick; two children, Darren Grimes (T.J. Daugherty) and Jennifer Johnson (Jason Harral); two stepchildren, Bobby Beckner (Angie) and Dena Beckner; five grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Sheila Carter (Terry) and Beverly York (Kevin); three nephews; and one niece.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
