Nora Earlene Martin, 82, of Bowling Green, passed away April 26, 2013, at Magnolia Village.

The Plano native was born Dec. 10, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Ruby Frances Kirby Walters and Ezra Sample Walters. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Otis “Tommy” Martin, and her sister, Winnie Louise Hardcastle. She was a graduate of South Warren High School, a member of Glendale Baptist Church and was co-owner of Martin’s Upholstery.

Mrs. Martin is survived by one son, James Philip Martin; one daughter, Julie Lynn Midkiff; two grandsons, Joshua Travis Midkiff and James Levi Martin; and two nieces, Evelyn Vaughn and Joyce Smith.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 129 Prospect Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
