Debbie Kreitzer, 51, of Bowling Green, entered into rest May 5, 2013, at her residence.

A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of James and Elizabeth Rogers. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Christopher Kreitzer.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Tony Kreitzer; two sons, Nate Shaw of Sanford, Maine, and Michael Kreitzer of Indianapolis; a daughter, Laura Kreitzer, and her fiancé, J.D. Ramsey, of Lewisburg; two sisters, Melanie Cameron (Donald) of Laie, Hawaii, and Mindy Rae Jepson (Rex) of Cedar City, Utah; and is also survived by the beloved Goldie.

Debbie was a member of the Association of American Geographers. She was a teacher at Western Kentucky University, a world traveler and loved her horse Red. Debbie loved to read science fiction and fantasy but especially her daughter’s books. Debbie was a devoted and wonderful wife and mother and was very proud of her children.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from noon until the funeral hour.
