Funeral Home: J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel
Alma Ann Wyatt, 92, of Bowling Green, passed away June 26, 2013, at The Medical Center at 10:15 p.m.
Alma was born May 15, 1921, in Cumberland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anley Wyatt; her parents, George Long and Mable Riley Long; two sisters, Marie Price and Dorothy Gossett; and three late grandchildren, Tabatha Wyatt Lewis, Bobby Wyatt Jr. and Becky Wyatt.
Alma was a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church and a retired nursing assistant for over 30 years from Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was a wonderful wife of 70 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Wyatt (companion Jan Clarke) of Richardsville and Billy Wyatt and Bruce Wyatt (Vonda) both of Bowling Green; two daughters, Janet Jessie (Roger) of Bowling Green and Helen Hatcher (Isaac) of Cave City; two sisters, Lucille Johnson and Maydell Glasscock, both of Cave City; one brother, Keith Long (Linda) of Bloomington, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Doug and Danny Hatcher, Steve and Rickey Wyatt, Tammy Alford, Chris Jessie and Nicole and Josh Wyatt; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cave City Cemetery.
