Thomas J. Clark, 87, of Bowling Green, passed away July 2, 2013, at The Medical Center.

Mr. Clark was born Sept. 27, 1925, a son of the late Maggie Ruth Clark and Walter Clark. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Willard and Grace Stoops; and two brothers, Ed Clark and Jess Clark.

He served in World War II with the U.S. Coast Guard and worked at Western Kentucky Gas.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Mildred Beasley Clark; two daughters, Judy Clark Deavours (Lee) of Morristown, Tenn., and Amy Sherree Clark of Bowling Green; one son, Benny L. Clark (Alicia) of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Carrie Vinson, Ashley Vannauker and Dr. Stephen Wesley Clark; and five great-grandchildren, Claire Vannauker, Web Vannauker, Ellie Vinson, Emma Vinson and Ali Clark.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
