Margie Haynes Sollinger, 82, of Woodburn, entered into rest July 2, 2013, at Hopkins Center in Woodburn.

A native of Aberdeen, she was the daughter of the late Gobel and Hazel Keown Haynes. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Haynes; and a sister, Novice Roach.

Margie is survived by her son, Carl Sollinger (Wanda) of Woodburn; daughter, Shelia Hester (Jerry) of Bowling Green; sister, Ella Myers of Rockfield; brother, Wayne Haynes of Horse Cave; four grandchildren, Stacy Bengtson, Kevin Sollinger, Jill Strain and Leigh Ann Hester; five great-grandchildren, Caleb and Olivia Bengtson and Harrison, Daniel and Sam Strain; also several nieces and nephews.

Margie was a member of Rich Pond Baptist Church and worked at Union Underwear, Holley and Firestone. Margie enjoyed crafts and country music.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hopkins Center Activities Fund in Memory of Margie Sollinger at P.O. Box 70, Woodburn, KY 42170.
