Robin Jeffery Wandoff, 52, of Gladwin, Mich., passed away suddenly June 22, 2013.
He was born in Royal Oak, on Jan. 31, 1961, the son of John and Rose (Dalton) Wandoff. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country in the Desert Storm era. He had lived in Gladwin County in Michigan for the past seven years, previously residing in Kentucky. He was employed as a custom interior designer for Sea Ray Boats in Tennessee and then for Bayliner in Valdosta, Ga. He loved bowling and sports, playing football in high school and was awarded a scholarship to Indiana University. He was a champion dart thrower and played on dart leagues in Saginaw, Mich., and Tennessee.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Wandoff of Gladwin, Mich.; sister, Nikki Cain, and her fiance, Clyde Vance, of Gladwin, Mich.; brother, Douglas Wandoff of Charlotte, N.C.; nephew, Derek (Debra) Black of Almont, Mich.; niece, Shannon Long of Chatsworth, Ga., great-nephews Garrett and Daylan; great-niece, Anniston; and several cousins in Michigan, Kentucky and Florida. He will be greatly missed by his caregiver Bob Persky and many friends.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and the family will inter his ashes at a later date in Bowling Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
