Hazel Montgomery, 77, of Bowling Green, died July 23, 2013, at her residence.

She loved her family very much. She was an avid bowler and loved the Cincinnati Reds and UK basketball. She was employed by Holley Automotive for 50 years. In 1997, she won the National Seniors Bowling Tournament in Nevada.

Survivors include a son, Richard Montgomery (Pam), and a daughter, Donna Simmons (Joe), all of Bowling Green. There are four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one brother, Neal Tinsley of Bowling Green.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the Old Union Missionary Baptist Church, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery.
