Carolyn Jean Hampton DeVore, 59, of Roundhill, died Aug. 18, 2013, at 6:34 p.m. at her residence.

She was born Sept. 16, 1953, in Rockledge, Fla., to the late George Henry and Jean Welcome MacMullen O’Leary. She was a pizza delivery driver for Papa John’s Pizza and former cab driver for Yellow Cab. She attended Sandhill Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Eugenia Dawn Short of Roundhill and Melissa Danielle DeVore of Bowling Green; her son, Garnett Eugene DeVore Jr. and wife Victoria of Bowling Green; three sisters, Alice Jane Hampton Perry and husband Roger of Butler County, Elizabeth Ann Knight and husband Andy of Bowling Green and Eleanor Irene “Ellie” Talley and husband Larry of Bowling Green; two brothers, Charles Wade Hampton and wife Elaine of Bowling Green and George Lucky Hampton and wife Carol of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She requested to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Sandhill Seventh-day Adventist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
